Microlise have been selected from over 650 entries as one of the finalists in the prestigious IBM Beacon Awards in the category of Global Solution – Best Industry Solution. The awards will be presented at a dinner ceremony during the IBM PartnerWorld Conference to be held in St Louis, Missouri from 29th April to the 2nd May where over 5,500 IBM partner representatives from around the world will attend.
For the award, Microlise put forward their Vehicle Usage and Asset Management System. This web based application has been specifically developed to meet the needs of MAN ERF (UK) Fleet Management System through a secure document storage database and workshop management solution. The system helps MAN dealers and vehicle operators adhere to the VOSA Road Worthiness Compliance directive together with optimising service intervals to maintain vehicle up time availability.
